Ingredients

β€’2 tablespoons emulsifying wax
β€’2 tablespoons almond oil
β€’3 tablespoons shea butter
β€’1 tablespoon argan oil
β€’1 cup rose water
β€’1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin
β€’10 drops bergamot essential oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 01

Combine the emulsifying wax, almond oil, shea butter and argan oil in a small sauce pan.

  2. 02

Heat on low until thoroughly melted.

  3. 03

Remove from heat and let cool for a minute or two.

  4. 04

Add the rose water and vegetable glycerin and whisk the mixture as it cools. Mine thickened quickly, but depending on the emulsifying wax you use, this could take a while. Just make sure to whisk every now and then until it comes together.

  5. 05

Once the mixture is a lotion-like consistency, whisk in the bergamot oil.Β

  6. 06

To use, apply a quarter sized amount right before getting out of the shower (it's best to avoid direct contact with the water so you don't rinse it off too early). Once it's had a few seconds to sink in, lightly rinse off the excess and pat yourself dry with a towel.Β

The Caprese Salad Skewers recipe was a triumph! I prepared them for a party's barbecue and everyone loved them. The basil was so aromatic, the mozzarella so fresh, and the skewers were the perfect size and an appropriate.
