β€’5 applewood-smoked bacon slices, diced
β€’1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
β€’2 pounds fresh Brussels sprouts, halved
β€’2 tablespoons butter
β€’1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
β€’1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
