β€’250ml cream
β€’handful chopped parsley
β€’4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
β€’250g portabellini mushrooms, sliced
β€’1 tablespoon olive oil
β€’2 onions, finely chopped
β€’500ml Riesling (or dry white wine)
β€’salt & pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 01

Melt the butter and oil together in a large pan.Brown the chicken pieces all over and remove from the pan.

  2. 02

Add the onions and bacon and allow to fry until the onions are soft and translucent and the bacon has rendered it's fat.

  3. 03

Add the garlic and allow to saute for another 30 seconds before removing the mixture from the pan (leaving the fat behind).

  4. 04

Add the mushrooms and allow to fry for 5 minutes.

  5. 05

Add the onion and bacon mixture along with the browned chicken back to the pan.

The Caprese Salad Skewers recipe was a triumph! I prepared them for a party's barbecue and everyone loved them. The basil was so aromatic, the mozzarella so fresh, and the skewers were the perfect size and an appropriate.
